Danna (she/her) was born in Morelos, Mexico, and moved to the U.S. as an infant. As a first-generation student and TheDream.US Scholar, she has overcome the challenges of being undocumented while pursuing a psychology degree with a marketing minor at Grand Canyon University. When DACA faced uncertainty in 2021, Danna leaned on her resilience and used her story to inspire others. Through programs like Students Inspiring Students, she mentors young college students, helping them navigate adversity and believe in their potential. Passionate about community empowerment, Danna believes initiatives like Home is Here are vital to breaking barriers and creating opportunity.
