Born in El Salvador, Jeffry (he/el) is a student organizer from San Bernardino, CA with recent degrees in Chicana/o and Central American studies and labor studies from UCLA. Jeffry serves as Co-Chairperson for the Undocumented Student-Led Network (USN), a California-based network of immigrant youth leaders working towards creating a just and equitable future for immigrant communities. Since 2022, Jeffry has been a leading organizer for the groundbreaking Opportunity for All Campaign, mobilizing thousands of undocumented students and allies demanding equitable student employment opportunities at all California public universities, regardless of immigration status. A student in the Masters of Arts in Latin American Studies program at CSU Los Angeles, Jeffry’s scholarship focuses on Central American and undocumented youth experiences and resistance. At CSULA, Jeffry serves as Vice President for Students United to Reach Goals in Education (SURGE), the undocumented student advocacy organization.
