Juky (he/him) is an American-Brazilian-Chinese student and community organizer based in New York City. As president of the CCNY Dream Team, Juky leads efforts to support immigrant students by providing essential resources, including legal, financial, and professional counseling. Arriving in NYC from Brazil as a high school student on an F-1 visa, Juky’s journey has been marked by resilience and a drive to build inclusive communities. With a background shaped by his low-income and undocumented status, he’s committed to empowering others facing similar challenges.
Beyond his advocacy work, Juky is a photographer and organizer, channeling his passion for storytelling and social impact. Through the Home Is Here Opportunity Program, he seeks to uplift immigrant voices and foster connections within the community to create opportunities for growth and resilience through entrepreneurship.
