Kevin
Position: Home Is Here Opportunity Program Participant
Kevin (he/him) immigrated to the U.S. from Guyana in 2018. He is a dedicated consultant and President of Mosaic Connections where he leads curriculum development focused on mental health, college access, and inclusivity for immigrant communities. In addition to his role at Mosaic, Kevin serves as a Project Manager for the Immigrant Student Success Center and as a Home is Here Opportunity Program Participant with Immigrants Rising, both roles centered on empowering immigrant communities. He earned his bachelor’s degree in forensic psychology and a certificate in addiction studies from John Jay College in 2023. Kevin’s educational background and professional experience fuel his commitment to supporting individuals and organizations through impactful strategies and collaborative solutions. He is passionate about social justice and community development.
Beyond his professional advocacy work, Kevin is an aspiring writer in the realms of fiction and poetry.
