Position: Home Is Here Opportunity Program Participant
Mary (she/her/hers) is in her second year of pursuing an accounting major and a political science minor with senior standing. She was born in Nigeria and moved to the U.S. at nine for a better education. She is part of the policy education and advocacy department for Undocumented Student Support Services (USSS). In addition to being part of USSS, she is a first-generation student and part of the First To Go program. With her studies, she plans to create legislation that provides funding for undocumented students to attend college and pursue their post-graduation dreams. Mary finds joy and pride in painting, writing, listening to music, and exploring new places to eat.
