Yasser (he/him) is originally from the Dominican Republic and living in New York City. Yasser is currently studying entrepreneurship at Baruch College as a proud TheDream.US scholar. As a social media intern for CUNY’s Undocumented & Immigrant Student Program (UISP), Yasser is passionate about creating accessible resources for undocumented students and building community support. Alongside his studies and work at CUNY UISP, Yasser runs Yacollectibles16, his own eBay business where he curates unique collectibles like trading cards, Funko Pops, comic books, and signed memorabilia for enthusiasts and collectors alike.
Yasser aims to gain valuable entrepreneurship experience in New York, which he will one day apply to manage his business and his family’s company. Yasser is a fan of movies and TV shows. He also loves to bake flans and cupcakes and play sports in his free time.
