Marithza Quiroz (she/they) is a graphic artist currently living in the Bay Area. Born and raised in Sonora, Mexico, she migrated to the U.S. with her parents at age 17. She learned English and graphic design through low-cost adult programs in Los Angeles and worked in the printing industry for over 20 years. Marithza holds a bachelor’s degree in American studies from UC Berkeley and is currently pursuing a master’s in science in learning, design & technology at Stanford University. She loves museums, biking, and drawing comic strips. Marithza believes that storytelling, design, and technology are agents for change. She is thrilled to continue finding innovative ways to merge them and activate them.
