You and all of your friends & classmates should follow this optimal timeline for the California Dream Act to receive the maximum financial aid you are eligible for. Applying successfully by the March 2nd to the California Dream Act application and the Cal Grant are only the first step. It is important that you follow the remaining steps necessary to claim and use your financial aid at a California college or university. Each system (CCCs, CSUs, UCs, and privates all have unique Types of Financial Aid available.
