Alejandra (she/her) is the proud daughter of immigrant parents. She was born and raised in Southern California and is a first-generation college student. She has over ten years of experience working with immigrant communities in the areas of affordable housing, financial empowerment, and education. Prior to joining Immigrants Rising, Alejandra worked as a Program Manager at Mission Asset Fund (MAF), managing Lending Circles for Dreamers and other social loan programs. She is a graduate of the University of Southern California and the University of Washington. Alejandra spends her free time trying new foods, traveling, going to concerts, and training for half marathons.
