Claire Calderón (she/her) is a Chilean-American writer, editor, and arts curator. She holds a BA in Gender and Latin American Studies from Scripps College and an MFA in English and Creative Writing from Mills College. In 2015, she co-founded The New American Story Project (NASP), a living archive of voices exploring the forces of migration and the lives of Central American refugees. In addition to her work at Immigrants Rising, Claire is a grant writer at Prospera, a leadership development and business incubator for Latina entrepreneurs, and the manager of The Ruby, an arts space in San Francisco.
