Grace (she/her) immigrated from South Korea in 2003 along with her parents and her older sister. Before moving to San Francisco Bay Area in 2014, Grace was actively involved in her school and church communities located in the greater Los Angeles. For 3 consecutive years in high school, Grace participated in national high school conferences focused on issues around diversity, equity, and access to higher education. She graduated UC Berkeley with a major in economics and a minor in Japanese. Grace is a former Immigrants Rising’s Community Engagement Fellow and she is excited to continue supporting the undocumented immigrant community with educational and inspirational content.
