Maria Duga
Position: Operations Specialist
Maria Duga (she/her) immigrated from the Philippines in 2008 and has since made Los Angeles her home for more than a decade. She graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Accounting at Loyola Marymount University in 2022. She then worked for a distribution company for a year, where she learned and assisted in improving systems, workflows, and processes. Currently, as the Operations Specialist and Accounts Payable personnel at Immigrants Rising, Maria applies her operations experience and accounting knowledge to support her colleagues in their program work and goals. Outside of work, Maria enjoys going to bookstores, listening to podcasts, attending book club meetings with friends, and traveling around Southern California.
