Nicole Anand
Position: Board Member
Nicole Anand (she/her) is a political economist, design strategist, and open government leader with a deep passion for creating just and equitable futures. For over 15 years, Nicole led international and local nonprofit and consulting organizations in the service of social and economic justice. Her approach centers cross-sectoral coalition—with government, mission-driven organizations, and community members—to create robust ecosystems of public policies, programs, and narratives that care for people most in need. She is committed to moving her hometown of Los Angeles toward an informed public and progressive political leadership through her service as Board Chair of LA Forward Institute. She is a proud granddaughter of Punjabi refugees and daughter of Indian immigrants.
