Immigrants Rising 2019-2020 Fellowship Applications Now Open!

At Immigrants Rising, we believe education is the key to personal transformation. The opportunity to learn, whether it is in a classroom, at a job site or in other forms, gives individuals agency to improve their own lives. Undocumented young people, however, have limited access to professional learning opportunities that offer hands-on experience. We offer fellowships to develop the leadership capacity of undocumented young people as well as foster community building and peer support. Our fellows benefit from career training, mentorship, professional development, and opportunities to educate and empower the undocumented community.

In this upcoming year, we are offering 3 fellowship programs for individuals residing in San Francisco Bay Area and one nationwide fellowship program. 2019-2020 Fellowship Applications must be submitted by Wednesday, May 1st at 11:59 PM PST.

SAN FRANCISCO BAY AREA
High School Engagement Fellowships: Expand your knowledge about educational access and topics affecting undocumented young people while supporting high schools to develop and implement sustainable support systems for undocumented students.

Higher Education Fellowships: Expand undocumented students’ access to higher education through training, resource creation, and outreach.

Immigration Law Fellowships: Receive hands-on training in immigration law in order to educate undocumented people about their immigration options.

NATIONWIDE
