SACRAMENTO, Calif. (November 6, 2026) — The past two years have brought great hardship for immigrant communities, as policies at the federal level have threatened—and significantly impacted—the safety and stability of families, students, and workers. Through it all, communities nationwide have mobilized in solidarity, made their voices heard, and looked out for one another.

Immigrants Rising congratulates Governor-elect Xavier Becerra as well as elected legislators. We look forward to working with them to advance policies and systems-level changes that ensure all Californians can achieve socioeconomic prosperity, as outlined in our California Blueprint for Immigrant Socioeconomic Prosperity.
