On April 24, 2024, Truist Foundation names Centro Community Partners as the top grant recipient at the Inspire Awards, held in Charlotte, NC. Centro Community Partners won $250,000, with an additional $75,000 for being voted as Audience Favorite, to “provide an AI-generated journey through a virtual hub of resources for low- to moderate-income entrepreneurs.” Immigrants Rising places second, receiving a $150,000 grant to create “a gamification learning hub to help remove barriers to traditional employment for those who want to earn a sustainable income through small business ownership.”
