As a first-generation, Undocumented Latinx scholar practitioner, German (he/him) is committed to ensuring equitable outcomes for students in higher education. He is the Associate Director of Internships and Experiential Learning at Whittier College where he connects students to internship opportunities and fosters relationships with employer partners. Additionally, German has conducted research on the impact of policy on the retention of undocumented students, with a particular focus on their postbaccalaureate opportunities. German holds an M.A. in Education with an emphasis in social and cultural analysis of education from CSULB and a B.A. in American literature and culture and Chicana/o studies from UCLA. In his fun time, German enjoys movies, concerts, and playing with his 2 cats.
