Luz
Position: UndocuEducators Group Participant
Luz (she/her) currently serves as the Director of Campus Engagement for Presidents’ Alliance. She has over nine years of experience working in the K-12 educational system, college access non-profit sector, and higher education immigrant student affairs. She started her career working with students in undocumented student programs in California and New York. She recently founded the UndocuChats Collective, aiming to merge mental wellness and immigration. Luz holds an A.A. and a B.A. in psychology from Mt. San Antonio College and UC Berkeley and an MSW from Columbia University. In her spare time, Luz enjoys cuddling with her two cats, dancing Zumba, and growing a plant collection.
