Rising Together in 2021

What an incredible year this has been for our organization! Between expanding financial support for undocumented entrepreneurs through the SEED Fund; developing healing spaces for undocuAPI, Black, Latinx, and queer individuals through our national wellness support groups; celebrating the 20th anniversary of in-state tuition in California; and broadening horizons through our new travel resources, we have continued to learn, grow, and create new opportunities for the undocumented community to thrive.

This year, through our grants, programs, and services, Immigrants Rising will serve nearly 4,000 undocumented people. In addition, we will reach over 600,000 users online. Here’s the impact we’ll make:

Career Four undocumented professionals will gain over 1,000 hours towards their professional licensure.
College 335 undocumented college students will receive 1,350 hours of mentorship, coaching, or group support to help them achieve their educational goals.
COVID Relief 422 undocumented students will receive $211,000 in COVID-relief emergency grants.
Entrepreneurship 655 undocumented entrepreneurs will receive over $4,075,000 in grants to start or growth their businesses.
Law School 20 undocumented students will receive $50,000 in “Pre-Law Fund” grants in order to apply to law school.
Legal Services 600 undocumented people will learn about their immigration legal remedies through our online intake service.
Mental Health 200 undocumented people will receive over 5,000 hours of individual or group mental health support.
Storytelling 60 undocumented people will have opportunities to share their stories publicly.

We most certainly could not have achieved all of this without the generous support and love of our community. Please consider making a year-end donation so Immigrants Rising can continue creating new opportunities by/for undocumented people nationwide.

Together, we rise.
